The Ghaggar River originates from the Kalka hills of Shivalik Range in Himachal Pradesh. It is known as Ghaggar River before the Ottu barrage and as the Hakra River downstream of the barrage. The total length of this Ghaggar Hakra River is 465KM. It is also known as Dead River / Sarswati River / Sorrow of Rajasthan etc
The Parbati River originates in hilly terrain near Chhawar village of the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan State. The total length of Parbati River is 123KM. The major tributaries of the Parbati River are Sairni on the left side, and Bamni, Mendka on the right side. These rivers form the Parbati Basin.
The Gambhir River originates in the hills near Hindaun in Karauli district of Rajasthan State. The total length of Gambhir River is 288KM. The Panchna, Sesa, Kher, and Parbati River are the main tributaries of Gambhir River. These rivers form the Gambhir Basin.
